BNP Paribas Securities Services has expanded its services to Nordic institutional investors by appointing two new business development managers.
The new hires including Anne-Sofie Strandberg and Steve Payne have been named as business development managers for Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
Based in Stockholm, the pair will report to Annalisa Winge Bicknell, regional head of sales and relationship management for institutional investors for BNP Paribas Securities Services in London.
BNP Paribas already provides financial services including investment banking, asset management, insurance and vehicle leasing in the Nordic region.
Strandberg has joined BNP Paribas from Citigroup, where she served as head of securities and fund services for Sweden. Prior to this, she worked as head of relationship management for securities services at Swedban. She has 24 years of experience in the Nordic region.
Previously, Payne has worked as regional business manager client development at BNP Paribas Securities Services in London and has experience in sales and relationship management for asset owners in the UK and Asia Pacific.
Patrick Colle, general manager of BNP Paribas Securities Services, said: "This will boost our local market expertise and enable us to better understand the specific requirements of local institutional investors.
