BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed Jane Ambachtsheer as its new global head of sustainability.
Based in Paris, Ambachtsheer will spearhead sustainability-related research, environmental social and governance integration, engagement, advocacy and governance, as well as corporate social responsibility.
She will be supported in her new role by the firm’s deputy head of sustainability Helena Viñes-Fiestas.
Ambachtsheer will assume the new responsibility on 27 August 2018 and will report to the firm’s CEO and head of investments Frédéric Janbon.
Ambachtsheer has an experience of more than two decades in the investment industry.
She most recently served as the partner and chair of responsible investment at Mercer, after having joined the firm in the role of an investment analyst in 2000.
