BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has named Philip Dawes as head of institutional sales for the UK and Ireland.
In the newly created position, Dawes will be tasked with developing the firm’s business across UK institutional clients and supporting the firm’s product strategy for the UK. Based in London, he will report to the firm’s head of institutional sales for Europe, Charles Janssen.

Dawes most recently served at Allianz Global Investors, where he spent 16 years holding several roles such as head of UK institutional, head of consultant relations for Europe and chairman of the firm’s global consultant relations group.
