BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has bolstered its efforts in the ESG space by making its flagship fund range entirely sustainable.
The range includes SRI Best in Class, multi-factor, thematic, along with impact investing vehicles.
All strategies within this range will now incorporate the firm’s ESG integration guidelines.
The process will be adapted for each fund to meet the needs of their varied asset class, investment process as well as geographical area.
An ESG valuation committee will supervise the proposed integration methodology.
In the case of multi-factor funds, for instance, ESG scores must be 20% more compared to that of their respective benchmark indices while the carbon footprint must be 50% below the benchmark.
