BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed former-Henderson Global Investors CIO Rob Gambi to the role of global head of investments.
Gambi will manage the firm’s investment teams across various asset classes and locations.
Besides, he will be in charge of performance, process and research and the deployment of the firm’s Global Sustainability Strategy.
Collaborating with the Global Client Group and Product & Strategic Marketing teams, Gambi will work with an aim to improve the firm’s investment culture.
Moreover, he will join the executive committee of the firm.
His asset management career of over three decades also includes a stint as the global head of fixed income at UBS Global Asset Management.

Janbon stated: “Rob’s career at a number of leading global asset managers means that he brings extensive industry experience to the role of Global Head of Investments.
“He will be instrumental in enhancing our investment platform, including overseeing the integration of our Global Sustainability Strategy, in support of our goal of delivering long-term sustainable returns for our clients.”
BNPP AM tends to clients in 69 countries. The business had assets under management of €421bn at the end of March 2019.
The firm made several leadership changes lately.
In July 2018, BNPP AM named Jane Ambachtsheer as the global head of sustainability.
Last month, the firm appointed Chris Ouellette as head of CSR (Corporate & Social Responsibility) within its Sustainability Centre.
