BMO Global Asset Management (BMO GAM) has appointed Alice Evans and Claudia Wearmouth as the new co-heads of its governance and sustainable investment (GSI) team.
Evans worked at BMO GAM between 2010 and 2016, serving as the co-lead manager of the Responsible Global Equity Fund.
She previously also worked at Henderson Global Investors and JP Morgan Asset Management.
Wearmouth joined the firm in 2007, shouldering responsibilities such as heading the Responsible Fund Range and overseeing the Responsible Investment Advisory Council.
In the new role, the duo will work together to integrate the environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues across investment teams.
In addition, the firm also recruited Pieter van Stijn as a director within GSI. He will be based in the Netherlands.

He previously also served as a sustainable investment analyst at SNS Asset Management and a policy adviser at Wissenraet & van Spaendonck.
