BMO Financial Group has named Brett Pitts as its chief digital officer, a newly created role.

Pitts will head the bank’s digital portfolio and manage North American digital experiences and channels. He will take up the new responsibility on 30 November 2017.

Pitts most recently served as the executive vice president and group head of digital at Wells Fargo. He worked at Wells Fargo for 17 years, during which he held various senior positions within the firm’s digital channels group.
