American asset manager BlackRock launches new thematics ETFs with the addition of three actively-managed equity funds and an equity ETF.
The new actively-managed strategies are the BGF Fintech, BGF Next Generation Technology, and BGF Future of Transport funds.
The vehicles have been designed to enable investors tap into the megatrends of shifting economic power, climate change, rapid urbanisation, demographic change, and technological breakthroughs.
The next generation fund and the fintech fund will be managed by Tony Kim and Vasco Moreno, respectively.
The transport fund will be run by Alastair Bishop, Charles Lilford, and Hannah Gray.
The new iShares Digital Securities Ucits ETF will track the STOXX Global Digital Security Index, which includes developed and emerging market firms generating significant revenues from digital security-related sectors.
