Berenberg Wealth and Asset Management has appointed three senior portfolio managers to strengthen its currency overlay team.
The new hires are Jürgen Büscher, Jonathan Roberts and Marcus Fernandes.
Büscher, who joins from QCAM Currency Asset Management, will operate out of Zurich.
He formerly also worked as the global head of private wealth management, FX, money markets and commodities at Deutsche Bank Switzerland.
Roberts most recently worked at UBS. He will also operate out of Zurich in the new role.
Fernandes earlier worked at Mesirow Financial and State Street Global Advisors.

Berenberg eyes a 50% asset growth in the operation to nearly €11bn.
At present, the firm is working to further develop the investment process, with focus on big data integration.
Berenberg head of investments & risk management solutions and head of overlay management Matthias Grimm said: “This will give our international business another big boost.

Earlier this year, Berenberg collaborated with digital private assets investment platform Moonfare to offer its clients access to private equity funds.
