Berenberg, a Germany based private bank, has appointed Hans Wöll as new manager to take over the management of its Munich branch.
Hans Wöll has joined from Hauck & Aufhäuser in Munich, where he has been head of private and corporate business.
Prior to working for Hauck & Aufhäuser, he was head of private banking at Merck Finck & Co in Munich from 1997 to 2007. During this period, he also had operational responsibility for Merck Finck Vermögensbetreuungs AG.
Earlier to this he has worked for 18 years in the investment field.
Tindaro Siragusano, head of private banking and asset management at Berenberg, said: "We want to develop our business with wealthy private customers, entrepre-neurs, and foundations in Bavaria. In Hans Wöll, we have gained an experienced expert in private banking who will continue to promote our growth in the region."
Woll said: "I am looking forward to giving fresh impetus to growth in the private-banking team in Munich.
