Benjamin F. Edwards & Co, a US-based full-service broker-dealer, has opened its first office in the state of Nevada in Reno.
The firm has also nabbed four financial advisors from Wells Fargo and $220m in combined assets under management (AUM).

The new hires include Christopher Cook and Chris Gant, who are joining as vice-president, investments. In addition, Craig Belis will join as associate vice-president of investments, while Mike Zunini will be a financial advisor.
Benjamin Edwards Florida and Western regional manager Mark Fellows said: “We are confident that our special brand of client first service and our broad spectrum of investment products and services will resonate with Reno investors.”
Founded in 2008, Benjamin F. Edwards currently operates 67 offices across 26 US states and employs more than 500 people.
