By GlobalData“As our DFM proposition continues to expand and develop, we decided to strengthen our investment management team. Stewart has an established track record in fund management and we look forward to him joining the team,” Watson stated.
Murray has held several senior roles in the fund management sector and most recently served as the head of equities at Rowan Dartington.
Murray said: “I was attracted to Beaufort Investment Management as there are ever-fewer UK wealth managers of any size in the industry, as it continues to consolidate, and even fewer with the ability to be nimble, as the current climate demands.
“BIM’s approach to investment management has great appeal and I am delighted to be joining the Group at such a critical point in their development, as their funds under management continue to grow, and I look forward to broadening the scope of our proposition.”
BIM is part of the Beaufort Group of Companies and manages over £550m in assets.
