BBVA Compass has promoted Mary Mahlie to San Antonio market executive of Trust and Wealth Management.
Mahlie brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with 11 years managing private banking, trust and wealth services.
Most recently, she served as the bank’s wealth management market executive in Beaumont, Corpus Christi and College Station. She will continue to oversee wealth management operations in Beaumont and Corpus Christi.
Karen Dixon, South Texas Regional Executive for Wealth Management, BBVA Compass, said: "Mary is a strong member of our wealth management team and I’m confident she will bring further success to our San Antonio market."
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mahlie is known for giving back to her community through her nonprofit work in Southeast Texas. In 2012, she founded The Giving Field, a two-acre organic garden that has produced more than 7,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables for local soup kitchens in Beaumont and Port Arthur.
