Baring Asset Management (Barings), the international investment company, has hired Veronique Fourmier as their head of Switzerland and global head of private banking.

Fourmier will be based in Barings’ new Geneva office and will report to Angus Woolhouse, global head of distribution, and Oliver Morath, head of EMEA sales.

Previously, Fourmier was relationship director at Schroders Investment Management, as well as holding several senior business development positions at Morley Fund Management.

Woolhouse said: "Veronique’s considerable experience and deep understanding of financial institutions will be a huge advantage to Barings as we seek to broaden and deepen our client relationships in Switzerland."
