Barclays has appointment Steve Renfrew as regional head of its wealth and investment management (W&IM) division in the North West, UK
In his new role, Renfrew will be responsible for managing the offices in Liverpool and Manchester, working with director James Bailey and focusing on high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients.

Renfrew joins Barclays from RBS, where he was head of specialist banking leading a 200-staff strong team.
Prior to this position, Renfrew was director of private banking and advice at RBS and has held senior leadership positions in both RBS, as a member of the RBS Specialist Banking Executive Committee, and NatWest Private Banking.
Calum Brewster, managing director, Barclays W&IM in the North said Renfrew’s "leadership skills and experience of working within a large global bank" will allow Barclays W&IM to embark on the next phase of its growth, and "capitalise on the rising potential of the wealth management market in the North West".
