Banif SA posted a consolidated net loss of Euro 576.4 million in 2012. In this period, the Groups activity was developed against the worsening of the Portuguese economic prospects, on the back of an economic contraction, reduction of private consumption, increasing levels of unemployment and acceleration of credit risk deterioration, of both corporates and households segments.
