Antipodes Partners, a Sydney-based investment manager, has set up a new research office in London.
The firm opened the new office as its assets under management grew to over $4bn since its inception two years ago.
The firm also increased its headcount to 13 investment professionals and provides a global long/short strategy and an Ireland-domiciled UCITS fund.
Antipodes Partners CIO Jacob Mitchell said: “The past two years have certainly been an exciting time for the team. It’s encouraging to see our funds resonating strongly with the Australian market as advisers, investors and research consultants recognise the benefits of our high conviction, risk aware approach.”
The new location will be managed by senior investment analyst, Chris Connolly.
“We are now at a size where opening an offshore research office can accelerate and enhance our investment process and, in this sense, London remains the ultimate melting pot for corporate access,” Mitchell stated.
