London-based wealth management and consultancy firm Ashcourt Rowan has boosted its financial planning team with five new hires.
Simon Kempell and Gary Jones have joined the London team, while Alex Valvassura will be based in Ashcourt Rowan’s Maidstone office.
Kempbell has been in the industry for 27 years, joining from John Scott & Partners, now Towry.
Jones has over 32 years’ experience in the industry and joins the firm from RBS where he has worked for the past seven years.
Valvassura also joins the firm from RBS after 25 years in Corporate and Personal Financial Planning.
Additionally, Kerry Saunders has joined the Bournemouth office and Peter Woolgar the Brighton team. Saunders, in the industry for more than 10 years, worked for Lloyds Banking Group and more recently as an IFA, while Woolgar joined Ashcourt Rowan after 37 years spent at NatWest.

By GlobalDataIn April 2014, Ashcourt Rowan completed the acquisition of UK Wealth Management (UKWM), increasing its nationwide footprint to 17 offices and its assets to over £5 billion, of which £2.2bn is discretionary and managed.
