Francis Jackson has been named CEO of Ascot Lloyd, UK’s growing IFA firm, pending regulatory clearance.
Nigel Stockton, who has been in charge of the company since 2015 and stated his intention to step down in February 2024, will be replaced by Jackson, who is scheduled to start working for the company in September 2024.
Formerly the chief executive officer of RBC Investor Services at The Royal Bank of Canada, Jackson is a seasoned financial services professional with a proven track record of driving growth.
Across 17 countries and 5,000 workers, he oversaw a team that developed and implemented the company’s growth initiatives, generating an estimated $2.5bn in revenue annually.
Jackson oversaw the implementation of multiple digital transformation initiatives at RBC Investor Services, which increased operational effectiveness and decreased costs. He was the global head of client coverage for investor & treasury services for four years before taking on the role of CEO.
Having held managerial and client-facing positions at a variety of international institutions, which involves JPMorgan as head of investor services sales and SEI Investments, where he oversaw a team creating SEI’s modern Investment Processing Platform targeted at the global private banking and wealth management market, Jackson has extensive experience in the financial services industry.
