Ardan International, the independent international wealth platform formerly known as Acordias, has appointed Richard Preston as its new chief executive officer (CEO).
Previously, Richard was a board director at Cofunds, and he has also worked at Axa and Lazard Asset Management. He has over 30 years’ experience in financial services that includes work with wealth platforms.
Trevor Cheal, chairman of Ardan International and MD of investment services at Rowan Dartington, said: "Richard’s proven experience and success in developing client relationships in offshore markets will be an invaluable asset to the business, and we very much look forward to working with Richard to build the business and its reputation amongst the international adviser community."
Ardan International, based on The Isle of Man, was acquired by Rowan Dartington, a wealth management and stockbroking firm, in April 2014.
After the rebranding in December 2014, the platform increased the range of funds available to over 30,000, with 70,000 lines of stock across all the major global markets
