Bermuda-based fund administrator Apex Group has appointed Joseph Holman as the new global head of allocators.
Based in New York, Holman will manage the firm’s relationships with institutional investors and allocators globally. He will report to the firm’s chief revenue officer Fred Jacobs.
Holman has an experience of over 25 years in the fund management sector. He founded fund administrator Columbus Avenue Consulting and later served as the CEO of Orangefield-Columbus Fund Services upon Orangefield Group’s takeover of Columbus Avenue Consulting.
He most recently was the managing director at Vistra, which snapped up Orangefield Group and was responsible for managing the integration of the firm’s US offices.
Apex Group founder and CEO Peter Hughes said: “Joseph’s extensive expertise in driving growth and business development, in addition to his thoughtful approach to relationship management, delivers the perfect blend for Apex as we move upmarket and focus on institutional businesses.
“Although his remit will be global, his presence on the ground in the U.S. is pertinent as we continue to expand our brand and capabilities there. Joseph will be a critical asset to Apex’s operations and delivery of advanced services as we step into this next chapter.”
