ANZ Wealth has appointed Peter Tilocca as its chief underwriter for its insurance arm OnePath Life Insurance.
Tilocca, who has till now been serving as the firm’s acting chief underwriter, will replace John Leonard who retired in March 2017.

Tilocca, with an experience of over 25 years in life insurance and underwriting, joined ANZ Wealth in 2013 in the capacity of group underwriting and operations manager and later held the role as senior manager of insurance transformation.
He previously also had a stint at The Reinsurance Group of America and served as the chief underwriter at ING.
ANZ Wealth head of life insurance Gerard Kerr said: “Over the past few months, Peter has provided important strategic guidance for the business’ underwriting philosophy and has been the real driver behind our policy. His performance during this time, coupled with his extensive industry experience made him the obvious choice for the role.”
