Amundi US has appointed Jonathan Duensing as senior managing director and head of fixed income for the US, effective immediately.
Duensing, who joined the firm in 1996, has been a senior member of the US investment team for 25 years.
His recent roles include managing director, director of investment grade corporates, and portfolio manager.
Amundi US chief investment officer Ken Taubes said: “Jonathan has played a key role in helping build our fixed income organisation and advising on new products and our strategic direction. With 28 years of investment experience, he is also a skilled portfolio manager with a broad base of investment knowledge across fixed income markets.”
Amundi US is subsidiary of French asset manager, which oversees more than $2.12 trillion in assets.

Amundi reported adjusted net income group share of €309m in Q1 2021, which is said to be the highest since its IPO.
In March this year, Amundi launched a new business line, Amundi Technology, to bolster the sale of its technological solutions for asset managers and other players in the saving industry.
The firm expects the new business line to generate €150m in revenues within five years.
In January this year, Amundi Luxembourg, a unit of the asset manager, named Jeanne Duvoux as its new CEO.
