French asset manager Amundi has introduced a new equity fund range that aims to achieve long-term capital growth by incorporating the multi-factor allocation process.

The new fund range comprises Amundi Funds Dynamic Multi Factors Euro Equity fund, Europe Equity fund and Global Equity fund.

The Luxembourg-domiciled vehicles are part of Amundi’s smart beta and factor investing platform that currently manages over €19bn in assets. The platform is supported by the firm’s quantitative research head, Thierry Roncalli.

The new fund will offer exposure to Eurozone, Europe and global equity markets and will enable investors capture factor risk premia.

Amundi managing director of ETF, indexing and smart beta Fannie Wurtz said: “Factor Investing is gaining strong traction amongst investors and we are pleased to extend our broad Smart Beta and Factor Investing capabilities.

“We are convinced that this risk-focused investment philosophy will meet investors’ structural need for robust risk-management through factors, as well as helping them facing the very specific current environment.”
