The new unit will be an addition to the company’s existing offices in Kuala Lumpur, Luxembourg, Dubai, Dublin, Cairo, South Korea, Melbourne, and Astana.

The new company, Amanie Advisory House of Oman, will be led by Omani banker, Fahad Al-Khalili. who

"Fahad Al-Khalili will be charged with business development activities for Amanie’s Islamic Finance Advisory business, as well as Country head for Amanie’s growing list of businesses," the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the launch, Amanie’s founder and group chairman Mohd Daud Bakar said, "We see a lot of opportunity, both among the financial community, who are keen to expand into Islamic products, as well as in the financial advisory side of things, where we anticipate many developers will be keen to seek Shariah-compliant funding for their projects."
