Alter Domus, a Luxembourg-based fund services provider, has expanded its presence in Europe by launching new offices in Madrid and Barcelona.

The new business will be headed by Oscar Garcia as country executive Spain. He has an experience of over two decades in the corporate services sector, mainly in guiding Real Estate Prop Co projects.

Alter Domus CEO Laurent Vanderweyen said: “Having Spanish-based offices will offer significant opportunities for us to target inbound and outbound investments in the Spanish and European economies.

“Furthermore, Spain is a key place to invest not only for its domestic market but also for the possibility of operating with third countries within Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), due to its privileged geo-strategic position within the European Union.”

Alter Domus, which was established in 2003, offers a range of services including fund administration, corporate secretarial, accounting, consolidation, tax and legal compliance, depositary services and debt administration. The firm currently has 32 offices and desks in five continents.
