Alpadis Group, a Switzerland-based fiduciary services provider, has acquired Singapore’s TAO Trust Group for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2008, Tao Trust offers fiduciary and corporate services. All employees of TAO Trust will join Alpadis in Singapore as part of the deal, thereby boosting its headcount by 13.

The expanded Alpadis team in Singapore will be spearheaded by the group’s existing CEO Alain Esseiva.
Alpadis has also acquired TAO Trust’s experts and administrators, and its Singapore office.
“This expansion will allow us to significantly increase the number of experts that Alpadis Group can employ here in Singapore, which in turn will enable us to continue providing a high level of service to existing clients, and grow our portfolio to include new ones,” Esseiva noted.
Alpadis offers a range of services including wealth planning, asset structuring, company incorporation and financial reporting. The firm also has presence in Singapore, a market it first entered in 2009, Malaysia as well as Hong Kong.
