Open architecture funds platform Allfunds Bank is set to bolster its footprint in Brazil by launching a new office in Sao Paolo.

The new office will serve as the firm’s Brazil headquarters. The firm forayed into the country in 2016 and intends to continue its growth in the region.

The firm also appointed Jorge Sierra as the new head for its business in Brazil.

Sierra, who has an experience of over two decades in sales and marketing, will lead the new office and will report to head of Iberia and Latin America Laura Gonzalez.

Gonzalez formerly led the firm’s Brazil operations and was also in charge of global accounts.

“Brazil is an important market and we are continuing to work with our clients to help streamline the distribution process. I personally feel very connected to Brazil after my time there launching the Allfunds Brazilian business. It is a unique and highly dynamic market that really has something special to offer and I am confident that Jorge´s experience will have a great impact,” Gonzalez said.
