AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics (CIBE) has signed an agreement with INAYAH Islamic Finance Research Institute (IIFRI) to promote Islamic banking & finance globally.

The agreement was signed between Nidal Alsayyed, president and CEO of IIFRI and Muhammad Zubair Mughal, CEO of-AlHuda CIBE in the capital of Jordan, Amman.

Under the agreement, both institutions will work together to support the modern applied research and training in multi Islamic Finance areas including Sukuk and Islamic Microfinance through research, publications, training, consulting, public awareness, and capacity building services in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

According to Alsayyed, this joint venture will boost Islamic finance in the region in addition to increasing the knowledge and capacity building in Islamic Banking and Finance through master level programmes in other countries including Pakistan.

Through this agreement, both the institutions will strategically combines their resources, expertise and skill to expand the Islamic microfinance and sukuk based platforms in the region.

INAYAH, with offices in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, UK, and other countries works for the growth of Islamic finance, while AlHuda CIBE has been working on Islamic banking and finance industry since 10 yeras.
