Investment manager Muzinich & Co has named Alexis Ng as the managing director for its Asia-Pacific business and the country manager for Singapore.

Ng will assume the new role next month, with responsibility for building the firm’s relationships with private banks, institutional and wholesale investors in the Asia Pacific region.

She most recently served as the head of distribution for Asia-Pacific at Aberdeen Standard Investments.

Her financial career of over two decades also includes a stint as country head for Singapore and head of distribution for Asia at First State Investments.

Muzinich founder and CEO George Muzinich said: “Asia is a key market for us as we expand the firm’s global footprint.”

Muzinich made several changes in its management team this year. In August, the firm named Martin Gut as its new country head for Switzerland.

Earlier this year, the firm appointed Fabrizio Pagani to the newly created role of global head of economics and capital market strategy.

Established in 1988, Muzinich specialises in public and private corporate credit.

The firm has operations in New York, London, Dublin, Frankfurt, Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Paris, Singapore and Zurich.
