Zocks, an AI-driven client intelligence platform designed for financial services, has secured $13.8m in a Series A funding round led by Motive Ventures.
Lightspeed Venture Partners, Expanse Venture Partners, Entrée Capital, and 14Peaks also contributed to the fundraise.
The capital injection will support Zocks’ product development, headcount expansion, and market penetration plans.
Over the coming 12 months, the company is set to enhance its AI capabilities, focusing on automating laborious tasks like email correspondence, account applications, and form processing.
The company is also expected to roll out “advanced” analytics that will allow firms to glean insights from their entire client base. Moreover, Zocks is contemplating a foray into Europe.
Since early 2024, over 1,000 advisory firms have adopted Zocks.
The company has forged alliances with fintech firms such as Wealthbox, Redtail, and Practifi, and has garnered the support of enterprise clients and partners, including Carson Group, Osaic, RFG Advisory, and Cambridge Financial Group.
Zocks CEO and co-founder Mark Gilbert said: “The future of wealth management belongs to advisors who can harness unstructured client data and turn it into real-time intelligence.
“This investment allows us to accelerate AI-driven innovation, expand our team, and deepen our integrations, ensuring that Zocks remains as the industry’s most advanced solution for client intelligence and workflow automation.”
Zocks’ platform not only constructs detailed client profiles by amalgamating information from various interactions but also identifies actionable items and automates form completion to streamline team workflows.
By integrating seamlessly with existing CRM systems and upholding stringent privacy standards, Zocks saves advisors an average of 45 minutes per client meeting through intelligent automation.
The platform also enables standardisation of client data capture and archival across firms.
Motive Ventures principal Harsh Govil said: “We invested in Zocks because they are not just an alternative in this space—they are the enterprise-ready leader that financial advisors and firms need.
“Zocks goes beyond a sleek UX, delivering broader intelligence and workflow automation across both client servicing and financial products.”
Recently, wealthtech firm Osaic integrated Zocks’ client intelligence platform.
