Swiss digital solutions provider additiv, which powers the financial services industry, has launched its new office in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This move strengthens the company’s Asia Pacific presence, helping it better support regional financial institutions with their digital transformation efforts.

Indonesia’s financial sector is currently experiencing a shift towards digitalisation, spurred by high internet usage and a regulatory environment that encourages financial inclusion, highlighted the fintech company.

The new office, located in the District 8 development, will act as a support hub for additiv’s Indonesian operations.

It will allow the company to enhance its support for existing clients and capitalise on new opportunities within Indonesia’s economy.

Additive stated that its approach to advancing financial services leverages a digital factory model, incorporating omni-channel distribution, self-service features, comprehensive digital processes, and artificial intelligence (AI) powered personalisation.

Additive CEO Nils Frowein said: “The establishment of our Indonesian office marks another significant milestone in additiv’s global expansion strategy.

“As Southeast Asia’s largest economy embraces digital transformation, additiv is uniquely positioned to support financial institutions with our comprehensive platform solution.”

In addition to its Swiss base, additiv has offices in Singapore, Indonesia, UAE, Germany, the UK, as well as development centres in Central and Eastern Europe.

The firm caters to over 400 financial institutions and brands worldwide, including asset managers, IFAs, banks, insurers and pension providers.

In 2023, additive entered a partnership with digital platform execution specialist SELISE.

The collaboration is said to enhance the capabilities of additiv’s Digital Finance Suite (DFS), using SELISE’s software management expertise.
