Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Wells Fargo

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 53.55% share, which marked a 54.39% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 46.33%, registering a 17.93% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 0.12% share and a flat growth over July 2021.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 53.13% share in August 2021, a 53.98% growth over July 2021. US featured next with a 46.33% share, up 17.93% over the previous month. Philippines recorded a 0.42% share, an increase of 133.33% compared with July 2021.

Mid Level jobs lead Wells Fargo IT hiring activity in August 2021

Mid Level jobs held a share of 65.79%, up by 35.21% from July 2021. Junior Level positions with a 30.33% share, a growth of 33.68% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.52% share, up 28.26% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.36%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
