Poland banking and payments industry registered a 0.1% decline in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 4.6% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the banking and payments industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 21.14% share in June 2021, recording decrease of 1.59% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.36% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland banking and payments industry in June 2021.

Top five banking and payments companies in Poland IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 8.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland banking and payments industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Banco Santander posted 118 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a drop of 48.7% over the previous month, followed by UBS Group with 81 jobs and a 1.22% drop. Nordea Bank Abp with 74 IT jobs and ING Group with 53 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 23.19% decline, respectively, while Citigroup recorded a 71.43% an increase with 48 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.22%, up by 2.49% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 15.11% share, a growth of 46.03% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.69% share, down 41.58% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.99%, recording a month-on-month an flat growth.
