Czech Republic banking and payments industry registered a 1.5% rise in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.19% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.
Out of the banking and payments industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 26.31% share in July 2021, recording decrease of 1.12% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 101.31% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Czech Republic banking and payments industry in July 2021.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 3.23% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Czech Republic banking and payments industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
KBC Group posted 572 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 1.24% over the previous month, followed by Societe Generale with 20 jobs and a 53.85% growth. Deutsche Borse with 10 IT jobs and Moody’s with 3 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a 50% increase, respectively, while BNP Paribas recorded a 25% decline with 3 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.51%, down by 2.77% from June 2021. Entry Level positions with a 20.1% share, a growth of 35.16% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 5.39% share, down 25% over June 2021.
