Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks has opened new private wealth management offices in Houston and Dallas in Texas.
The Texas division will be led by Karen Dixon, who has over three decades of the banking industry experience. She will be joined by seven other wealth management professionals.
Prior to joining SunTrust Private Wealth Management, Dixon worked as an executive vice president and Houston market executive for BBVA Compass Global Wealth.
Previously, she also served as principal and co-founder of Caprock Capital Advisors and Bank of America.
The new offices will work alongside SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (STRH) teams to offer corporate and investment banking solutions for corporate clients, the bank said.
SunTrust Private Wealth Management head Joe Thompson said: "Houston and Dallas each have affluent families and vibrant business communities that we can serve in private wealth management as well as corporate and investment banking through STRH.
