Quilter has appointed platform veteran David Tiller as its new commercial and propositions director.
Tiller will report to Quilter platform and Quilter Investors CEO, Steven Levin.
As commercial and propositions director, he will oversee the company’s portfolio management technology, client-driven investment solutions, adviser tooling and platform to enhance the client experience.
The appointment comes as the firm accelerates its effort for the development and growth of its adviser platform.
It also follows the completion of the company’s re-platforming earlier this year.
A veteran of the platform industry, Tiller joins Quilter from Standard Life Aberdeen where he was recently global head of client technology solutions.
He is also a non-executive director at Origo Services.
Commenting on the appointment, Levin said: “David brings a huge amount of experience in bringing together capabilities of multiple functions, while ensuring that clients are at the front and centre of our business.
“We also want to showcase to advisers the increased functionality and assistance we can bring to their businesses. With David on board, I believe we are in a great position to do just that and help propel our propositions forward over the long-term.”
Tiller said: “I am excited to have the opportunity to help accelerate the next phase of growth for Quilter.
“With Quilter’s capabilities today looking like other platforms’ aspirational roadmaps, I am really excited about what we will achieve with our next phase of digital innovation and how much we can help clients and advisers.”
In the first half of 2021, the Quilter platform registered net inflows of £1.8bn, up 80% on the same period of last year.
According to the company, the platform is used by more than 2700 advice firms to conduct business.
