Poland banking and payments industry registered a 2.5% decline in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 2.58% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.
Out of the banking and payments industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 20.79% share in July 2021, recording decrease of 2.1% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.61% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland banking and payments industry in July 2021.

Top five banking and payments companies in Poland IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 23.88% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland banking and payments industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
Banco Santander posted 102 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a drop of 53% over the previous month, followed by UBS Group with 78 jobs and a 12.36% drop. ING Group with 64 IT jobs and SIX Group with 40 jobs, recorded a 20.75% growth and a 29.03% increase, respectively, while Credit Suisse Group recorded a 15.15% increase with 38 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.33%, down by 24.57% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 12.98% share, a decline of 24.72% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.5% share, down 38.75% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.19%, recording a month-on-month decline of 80%.
