UK-based law firm Fladgate has launched a family office division in London to offer professional administrative services to its private wealth clients.

The firm set up the new venture under its newly launched Walgate brand, which aims to offer non-legal professional services to its clients.

Walgate Family Office will provide a range of administration support for affluent families.

These include asset and property management, financial admin and reporting, human resources, risk management, relocation services, and philanthropy.

The business will be led by Fladgate head of family office services Sarah Haile and private wealth head Jonathan Riley.

Commenting on the development, Haile said the new venture will deliver all of the benefits of a family office structure.

“What we have developed represents a highly differentiated service that anticipates our clients’ needs and gives them a commercial advantage,” Haile added.

Fladgate’s private wealth division is said to serve over 100 HNW individuals and families in the UK and internationally.

Fladgate executive partner Grant Gordon said: “The Walgate brand allows us to tailor our offering to meet our clients’ needs in a way that best suits them, delivering non-legal professional services and management solutions that can work hand in glove with our legal offering at Fladgate.”

Fladgate is planning to further expand Walgate brand by launching more non-legal services to complement its legal advice and services.

Earlier this month, McFaddens & Co expanded its global footprint by launching its multi-family office operations in UAE.
