Among these people include Chandler Bocklage, who is a portfolio manager at the firm and previously served as trading assistant of billionaire Steven Cohen.

The other employees to quit include portfolio managers Anthony Chedid, Ted Orenstein and Tom Rabolli.

These five employees were veterans of SAC Capital Advisors which is now renamed as Point72 Asset Management and was pleaded guilty to insider-trading charges in 2013, and has been changed into a family office for managing the assets of its founder Cohen.

These employees were reportedly close to Cohen and managed about $2 billion in recent month.

The company has also shut down its Boston branch but has retained some compliance staffers in this unit.
