Pintec Technology, a Chinese fintech platform, has named Victor Huike Li as its new CEO and director.
Li assumes the new role with immediate effect.
He replaces Wei Wei, who has resigned for health reasons. Wei has been on a medical leave of absence since last September.
Until now, Jun Dong was working as the CEO on an interim basis and resigned after Li took charge.
Both Wei and Dong will remain on the company’s board.
Meanwhile, Xiaomei Peng resigned from the board citing personal reasons.

He previously was the founder and CEO of VanceInfo Technologies Australia.
He joined PINTEC last year after its takeover of InfraRisk, a credit management solutions provider which he co-founded.
He formerly served as Pintec’s head of international business and executive vice president.
Li stated: “All of our major business lines are currently on track to grow revenues and reach profitability.
“With the recent establishment of multiple partnerships, I am fully confident in the Company’s present management team and our ability to enter into a new growth cycle as we advance through the remainder of the year and beyond.”
Pintec caters to various types of financial partners such as investment funds and trusts, banks, brokers, insurance and consumer finance firms, as well as P2P platforms.
