Robertson Stephens Wealth Management, a US-based investment advisory business, has launched an office in Austin, Texas, which will serve as its first Southwestern office.

The office will be staffed by Pam Friedman as managing director and principal.

Friedman, who specialises in divorce planning, adds assets of more than $60m to the firm.

With the addition of Friedman, Robertson Stephens’ financial planning expertise expands into the areas of marriage, divorce as well as other life events.

Friedman noted: “I believe that in Robertson Stephens, I have found the right partner to support my practice.

“We share the same values and passion for serving both men and women as fiduciaries especially through tough life situations like divorce and widowhood.”
