Swiss private banking group Julius Baer has hired Felix Xaver Oeschger from Lombard Odier to serve as its new head of Zurich market.
Oeschger will replace Andreas Feller, who will now become the market area head of German-speaking Switzerland.
In the new role, Oeschger will manage the business with private banking clients in Zurich.
He will assume the new responsibility on 1 March 2020 and report to Feller.
At Lombard Odier, Oeschger served as the head of Swiss clients for Zurich.
He previously had a 14-year stint at Credit Suisse’s Private Banking arm, latterly as its deputy sector head for market area Zurich Center.
