Swiss private bank EFG International has collaborated with Expersoft Systems unit AM-One to launch a multi-custody platform for independent asset managers.
The new offering will support client relationship management, portfolio management, reporting, compliance and risk management, among others.
It will also offer independent asset managers access to data from the private bank’s booking centres.
Expersoft Systems CEO Philipp Bisang said: “We look forward to the launch of EFG’s new platform, which addresses the need for efficiency and agility in today’s market environment and will allow Independent Asset Managers to focus on their core business.’’
The platform is scheduled to be rolled out on 1 September 2019.
EFG CEO Giorgio Pradelli said: “In our Swiss domestic market in particular, we intend to capture opportunities with a focus on mid-sized independent asset managers.

The latest announcement comes shortly after EFG’s launch of its share repurchase programme and its appointment of Angela Bow as the deputy head of Asia Pacific.
Recently, the bank also acquired a majority stake in Australian financial services provider Shaw and Partners.
