Walker Crips, the UK investment and wealth management group, will expand its presence in the West Country by opening a new office in Truro, Cornwall, at the end of February 2015.
In addition to its major hubs in London and York, and its operational office in Romford, the new office in Truro will be Walker Crips’s ninth regional branch. It follows the recent hire of 10 staff in the Birmingham, York and London offices.
The Truro office will be headed by Chris Bolshaw and Jeremy Sharp, who come from Charles Stanley and formerly of Truro Stockbrokers. They have both been serving clients in the area for more than 25 years.
They will be joined at the end of March by Charles Stanley’s Simon Burnett, Matthew Dickinson, Jonathan Rowland, Rebecca Gouldstone and Alison Hubbard.

We look forward to working with Chris, Jeremy and our new colleagues in Truro as we forge Walker Crips’s growing reputation as one of the UK’s leading firms of bespoke Investment and Wealth Managers."
According to Walker Crisp’s latest results, the investment and wealth management businesses at the firm enabled gross profit to increase by 10.4% to £7.4m ($11.3m) over the last three years.
