SkyBridge Capital, a US-based alternative investment firm, has launched a new office at Two IFC Building in Yeoido in Seoul, South Korea.
Michelle Cha has been appointed as a vice president and will spearhead the firm’s Asia regional marketing.
Cha has over 10 years of industry experience in various roles such as sales, marketing, global investment and research in various financial institutions.
SkyBridge Capital co-managing partner and chief investment officer Ray Nolte said: "We are excited to further establish and expand SkyBridge’s presence in South Korea. Over the past three years, I and other senior members of our investment and marketing teams have spent a lot of time in the region, forging partnerships and familiarising ourselves with the investment landscape. Michelle’s role will be invaluable as we continue this effort."
Additionally, SkyBridge Capital also actively markets its products in Japan through a strategic alliance with a locally licensed broker-dealer and placement agent.
The firm offers a broad range of alternative investment offerings such as multi-strategy, commingled funds of hedge funds products, customized separate account portfolios as well as hedge fund advisory services.
