Sir Jim Ratcliffe is a self-made billionaire and has founded and now runs the largest chemical company INEOS, with its UK headquarters based in Knightsbridge, London. Ratcliffe has a residence in Chelsea amongst other places. His estimated net worth is around the figure of $27.3bn, making him the wealthiest man in the UK. This has increased by $19.50bn since last year where Ratcliffe was 18th on the rich list. The dramatic leap for Ratcliffe followed a large increase in value of INEOS, which is the UK’s biggest fracking firm.
Sri and Gobi Hinduja
The Hinduja group is headquartered in London and both brothers have a total net worth of $26.84bn, making them the second richest in the UK. Their family business was first found in 1914, India. It then moved to Iran where it was disrupted by Islamic rules and was forced to move into Europe. Now the business specialises in range of services including; foundries, trading, motor vehicles, banking, call centres and healthcare.

David and Simon Rueben are British business men with a total net worth of $19.62bn. Both brothers were born in Mumbai, India and then moved to London in the 1950’s. The brothers were involved in different business ventures from a young age. David started out in a scrap metals business, whilst Simon started out in the carpet industry. Simon made enough money from this to start investing in real estate. Their wealth increased in both metals trading and property with the formation of their company Trans-World metals.

She is the head of the brewing company Heineken and along with her husband, has a combined wealth of $14.17bn.
