Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers has bought the advisory unit of Carlisle-based accountancy firm Saint & Co, marking its third acquisition in 2018.
The deal, whose financial terms were not disclosed, adds £100m in assets to the acquirer’s portfolio and takes its total assets above the £2bn mark.
Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers director Dominic Rose said: “Saint & Co is a natural fit with Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers and comes with a reputation for a professional and personalised service, which we look forward to continuing and building on.”
As part of the deal, Saint & Co partner and adviser Philip Dhillon, adviser Trevor Iredale and a support team will migrate to the acquirer’s regional hub in Cumbria.
Saint & Co partner Ian Thompson said: “Not only does the business share virtually the same location as Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers, it truly reflects and shares the values that we believe are core to our offering.”
Earlier this year, Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers acquired Scottish advisory firm DG Pryde and Wiltshire-based A&M Financial Services.
