Alistair Shipp has joined Orbium, a financial services business and technology consultancy, as associate partner.

Shipp will help drive further growth of Orbium’s European strategy and operations consulting practice.

Bringing 14 years of financial services industry experience, he joins Orbium from HSBC where he was head of business planning & strategy for group wealth management.

Shipp has a solid track record in shaping and executing business strategy, delivery of both organic and inorganic (M&A) transformational change in addition to commercial leadership across the UK, Western Europe and the Middle East.

Prior to HSBC, Shipp worked at Barclays helping with strategic business transformation initiatives and successfully delivering large global transformation projects in retail and corporate banking. Before moving to the financial services industry, he spent 14 years in the Royal Air Force.

Shipp will be based in Orbium’s London office.
