Old Mutual Wealth (OMW) Private Client Advisers has acquired UK-based Maestro Financial Services.
The acquired business will now become part of OMW Private Client Advisers and operate under the firm’s Chester region. The deal adds over £120m in assets under advice to OMW adviser business.
Niel Lingwood, owner and managing director of Maestro, will join OMW Private Client Advisers with additional support staff.
Established in 1984, Maestro acquired Shaw Heath Insurance Services in 2008; and financial planning business of Kay Webb in 2010.
Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers managing director Nigel Speirs said: “In 2015 we launched Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers with the aim of helping a growing number of UK households realise the benefits of professional financial planning. I’m delighted that we can now add to our Chester office by welcoming Niel and his colleagues into the business.”
